TOWSON, Md. – The Saint Joseph’s women’s tennis team wrapped up its stay in Maryland with the conclusion of the Towson Classic on Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• In the day’s first set of matches, the Hawks took on Hampton. Fabiana Tort-Umpierre and Stow Weiss got a winning result in doubles before the Pirates swept the singles matches.
• Tort finished off a strong day with a singles win in the finale against Towson.

“I’m very happy with squad’s performances in both doubles and singles,” head coach Ian Crookenden said. “Everybody got to play and know what to work on for the balance of the fall.”
UP NEXT
The Hawks will wrap up their fall slate this week when they head to Blacksburg, Virginia, for the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships, which begin on Thursday.
