Hischier was involved on the opening goal of the game as he recorded an assist after forward Fabian Zetterlund’s goal, while the captain gave the Devils a two-goal advantage early in the second period. Hischier is off to a great start to begin the season, as the former first overall draft pick is tied for the team lead with four goals and ranks second on the Devils in total points with nine as he hopes to put together a breakout season.
