The Florida Panthers forward is facing discipline for high-sticking Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick on Saturday.
The incident occurred with 39 seconds remaining in the third period of Florida’s 5-4 loss at Crypto.com Arena. Tkachuk did not receive a penalty on the play. Quick stayed in the game after he was looked at by the Kings training staff.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: high-sticking. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
