The LA Kings have recalled forward Aidan Dudas from the Ontario Reign, the Kings’ primary affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Dudas, 22, has played in all 18 games for the Reign this season, registering seven points (6-1=7) and a plus-5 rating, tying for the club lead in goals (6) and sitting tied for fifth in plus/minus. The 5-8, 170-pound forward has spent his first four professional seasons with Ontario, appearing in 122 career AHL games and collecting 43 points (22-21=43).
Originally selected by the Kings in the fourth round (113th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft, Dudas played four seasons with the Owen Sounds Attack of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), earning 201 points (80-121=201) with a plus-2 rating and 88 penalty minutes (PIM) in 240 career OHL games. The Parry Sound, Ontario native has represented Canada once in International Ice Hockey Federation competition, earning a gold medal at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship where he collected two assists (0-2=2) in seven games.
The Kings complete their four-game homestand tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes at Crypto.com Arena. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on Bally Sports West TV and the LA Kings Audio Network on iHeartRadio.
