India started Day 3 with two wickets needed to wrap up Bangladesh’s first innings and they did so in around 50 minutes. However, India decided to not enforce the follow-on and came out to bat for their second outing. They did started cautiously but soon picked the pace and even though Rahul departed after getting yet another start, Gill and Pujara made sure that they convert their starts into a century this time around. Gill got to his maiden century while Pujara got his fastest century in Test cricket as India scored more that 4 runs per over. India declared with 12 overs to go in the day and would have hoped for at least couple of breakthroughs before the end of the day but Bangladesh batted well and India now need to pick 10 wickets in 6 sessions to win this one.
