This is because he has embraced the concept of cryptocurrency and is following in the footsteps of several other athletes. Now, some other NASCAR entities are steadily getting in on the act. One of them is the Hendrick Motorsports team, much to the fans’ dismay.

The outfit has seemingly partnered with Candy Digital and will soon come out with its first NFT.
Unfortunately, not many of their fans appreciated the move. A lot of them are convinced that it is a scam and it won’t be profitable for them. One example is NFL star, Odell Beckham Jr, whose salary took a dip when the value of Bitcoin dropped.

Some have said that they would prefer to invest in physical and existing merchandise which is visible. They also think that something material like a diecast or a shirt would be far more valuable than a digital item. Many fans have also acknowledged that the outfit has been hugely successful on the track, but they can’t see NFTs as a win.

Hendrick Motorsports is looking forward to the 2022 season
On a different subject, the outfit is hoping to see the 2022 NASCAR Cup season kick-off. The first race of the year is the Busch Light Clash at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Many fans have mixed feelings about this race for a number of reasons. First and foremost, a large number of people are excited to see a NASCAR race in Los Angeles. However, there are some sections that are worried about the track being too small.
Of course, this race is not particularly important in the grand scheme of things. However, it does help that whoever wins it will have bragging rights to being the first winner at the Coliseum. After this race, the 2022 Cup Series season begins in earnest in mid-February at the Daytona International Speedway.
