Mental Health America of Aiken County is hosting a golf fundraiser.
The Ray of Hope Charity Golf Event will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, at Houndslake Country Club, 901 Houndslake Drive.
Registration is $100 per person or $400 per foursome, and includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, golf shirt and goodie bag.
There also will be a beverage cart, and lunch and dinner also will be provided. Chick-fil-A is the lunch sponsor.
Funds raised will benefit Mental Health America of Aiken County programs. Programs include Nurture Home, which helps homeless women with mental illness; Welcome Baby, which has helped 1,200 families who delivered babies at Aiken Regional Medical Centers last year; Don’t Duck Mental Health, which helps children develop good mental health practices; the Life Savers Club, which supports all MHA programs throughout the year; and Operation Santa, which provides gifts to people with a mental illness.
Mental Health America also supports a suicide prevention program.
