SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota’s Danica Badura earned her first career TicketSmarter #SummitGF Female Golfer of the Week accolade, league officials announced Wednesday. Badura tied for 11th to lead the Coyotes at the Texas State Invitational in what was the team’s spring-opening tournament.
Badura finished with a 224 (+8) total in the 54-hole event with her best round coming in the middle when she fired a season-low 71 (-1) in an 18-hole loop around the Plum Creek Golf Course. The sophomore from Aurora, Nebraska recorded two birdies that round and was just one of five golfers to card an eagle during the tournament when she holed out on a par-5.
This is the sixth top-15 finish in Badura’s career as a Coyote.
