The Basics
Oklahoma State’s women’s tennis team (4-1 overall; 0-0 Big 12) will continue non-conference play with a two-match homestand against USC (6-2 overall; 0-0 Pac 12) and Tulsa (6-1 overall; 1-0 AAC). The Cowgirls and Trojans will square off at 12 p.m. (CST) on February 19. The following day, OSU will host the Golden Hurricane at 12 p.m. (CST) in Stillwater.

Series History
Oklahoma State holds a 2-5 all-time record against the Trojans. Against Tulsa, the Cowgirls are 20-15 all time and have won seven out of the last eight meetings dating back to the 2015 season.
Oklahoma State from a Distance
Oklahoma State’s 22nd-ranked Cowgirl tennis team ran its winning streak to three in a row after shut- ting out Arizona State, 4-0. The Cowgirls moved to 4-1 on the season with the victory. Additionally, OSU completed its third-straight sweep and has outscored its opponents by a combined 15-0 count during the winning streak. The Cowgirls showed off their depth at ITA Kickoff weekend competing without two-time all- American Lisa Marie Rioux. OSU went 1-1, finishing the weekend with a 4-0 shutout of 21st-ranked LSU. OSU dropped a hard-fought match against No. 11 Ohio State, 4-1, on day one of play. OSU picked up a 5-2 win over preseason top-25 opponent Princeton to begin the spring dual season. This season, OSU returns Alana Wolfberg, Dariya Detkovskaya, Ayumi Miyamoto and Lora Boggs from last year’s team. OSU signed Sofia Rojas, Oona Orpana, Mhai Mananchaya and Martina Zerulo. The veterans and Cowgirl newcomers have played a large role in the team’s early success. OSU set the stage this fall for high expectations come the spring season between the three returners and five signees. Freshman Mhai Sawangkaew has answered the call for OSU. Playing court two for the Cowgirls in singles, Sawangkaew holds an undefeated record and has only lost one game in her last two matches. In addition, two-time All-American Lisa Marie Rioux leads OSU on court one in singles with a 2-1 clip on the season. OSU has won the doubles point in four out of its first five matches, led by two undefeated duos in Martina Zerulo and Mhai Sawangkaew on court one and Lisa Marie Rioux and Ayumi Miyamoto on court two. OSU has nine ITA preseason top 25 opponents on this years schedule.
