After taking time to recover from an injury, Josh Taylor is ready to prove why he is one of the top fighters out there today. He is set to defend his WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring light-welterweight titles Saturday against Jack Catterall.
Taylor just recently unified the division. His work is not done, as he looks to continue what he started against Catterall inside the OVO Hydro in Scotland.
Taylor made his pro debut in 2015. He won the Commonwealth light-welterweight title in 2016 and the WBC Silver light-welterweight title in 2017. Defending the Silver title four times, Taylor would compete in the World Boxing Super Series light-welterweight tournament. He beat Ryan Martin, Ivan Baranchyk, Regis Prograis and Jose Ramirez to unify the division.
