Abdul-Jabbar’s final regular season game took place on April 23, 1989. He scored 10 points against the Seattle Supersonics in a 121-117 Lakers victory. Former Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was drafted No 6 overall in the 2021 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins, where he would reunite with his former college quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa.
