Breakouts are, by definition, unpredictable. Or they’re meant to be, anyways. When the MLB Pipeline team set out to predict prospect breakouts for the 2021 season last January, we didn’t expect to go a full 30-for-30. Indeed, half of the fun around prospect coverage is seeing who can beat expectations and set new, higher ones for themselves and their futures. Looking back, four of our predictions appear to have come true, while 26 others rose to prominence in their own unique ways in a year in which Minor League Baseball returned to play. A Florida golf club was the center of a horrific storm this week as the following counties were all under a tornado watch: Sarasota, Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Glades, Hendry, Desoto, and Highlands counties, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusted up to 40 mph, while the storms brought frequent lightning, hail, and localized flooding. Most of the damage centralized around the Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Fort Myers, where residences surrounding the golf course sustained a significant amount of damage, and in some cases required full roofing repairs. While some residents and workers immediately started the cleaning process, others…

Harris missed Week 15 at Indianapolis with the hamstring injury, but prior to that he had been doing a quality job for the Patriots and Fantasy managers. He had scored a touchdown in seven of his previous games, including five outings with at least 12 PPR…

They were a team that everyone thought was ready to announce their presence as an Eastern Conference power, but things have not gone according to plan thus far this season. The Hawks are currently 15-16, struggling to get going much like last season. A head coaching change likely isn’t on the horizon to fire them as it did last season, so they will have to evaluate themselves and figure out what needs to get fixed to get…
