USAFA, Colo. – Utah State’s golf team shot a 2-over 290 on Day 2 of the Air Force-hosted Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational on Saturday at the Eisenhower Golf Club (Blue Course).   The Aggies dropped two places and are now in fourth place at 1-over 577 (287-290) following the first two days of the tournament. The South Medford boys soccer team was able to do plenty right in Saturday afternoon’s matchup against Sheldon, but there was just one thing missing for the Panthers. MIDLAND, Texas — Utah State men’s tennis senior David Cierny and sophomore Sergi Micó Fenollar continued play at the Midland Invite on Saturday, with Cierny advancing to the finals of the Second Round Backdraw of the event. After bowing out of the main draw on Friday, Cierny responded with two straight-set victories. In the first round of the backdraw, Cierny defeated SMU’s Liam Krall, 7-6 (4), 6-4.
